We are the people of God, an army called to dismantle the kingdom of darkness and replace it with the Kingdom of God. In this battle SOULS hang in the balance. It’s a real battle with great resistance. If we’re not careful we can allow this resistance to completely paralyze us with fear. It reminds me of David and Goliath. The people of God couldn’t move forward because this large giant was taunting them. Their faith was reduced, and now they found themselves filled with doubt. They couldn’t see beyond what stood before them. Actually, I believe the threats from Goliath filled their imaginations. All they could see was pain, failure, and death!
This is how the giants in your life work. They come to steal your vision. Your vision is then replaced with images of failure and defeat.
David showed up on the scene unfamiliar with the battle, but extremely familiar with the King who rules in power! He was well equipped because his vision was much larger than the giant that now stood before him. (1 Sam. 17)
I believe we are called to rise up like David and refuse for the giants in our lives to remain before us! The giant that you take down is not only for your victory, but possibly thousands others that stand behind you. If God is for us, who can be against us?! You may have fear that feels VERY REAL taunting you, telling you why you can’t win souls, pray for the sick, or live LARGE for the Lord. This giant is only proof that the enemy is threaten by you passing through. Something GRAND stands right behind him.
Let’s do this! Pick up your armor and raise up your sword! It’s time to see the Victory of the Lord in the land of the living!!!
PRAY- repent for agreeing and partnering with giants in your life. Say what God is saying over your life!
