A few evenings ago I stood on the bed side of a loved one. We were told she only a few days to live. As I stood quietly next her I was able to see beyond her aged face and hands. A picture of her life stood before me. It was but a moment ago that she was celebrating her wedding day and the excitement of being a new mom. Now, surrounded not only by her children but great grandchildren her life here is coming to an end. How she choose to live each day now stands in plain view to all who knew her. We will all come to this place where we transition from this life into eternity and it will happen faster then we realize. Living intentional is living with eternity in mind!
ETERNITY IN MIND
“For our citizenship is in heaven, and from there we eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Yeshua the Messiah.”

“We are ambassadors of the Anointed One who carry the message of Christ to the world, as though God were tenderly pleading with them directly through our lips. So we tenderly plead with you on Christ’s behalf, “Turn back to God and be reconciled to him.””
2 Corinthians 5:20 TPT
The Bible clearly states we are citizens of heaven and our role is to be ambassadors of the Kingdom of God. For the sake of helping us to understand this further, imagine yourself in a foreign country working as an ambassador of the United States. Naturally, you want to learn about this new place and become familiar with the people and culture. But suppose you eventually became so absorbed in this foreign country that you begin to regard it as your true home. What would happen if this took place? First, your allegiance would waver and then gradually you would compromise your position as an ambassador. The results would be devastating. You would become ineffective! You would no longer be able to represent the best interests of your own country. I don’t about you, but my heart aches with great pain at this thought!
YOU ARE CHOSEN
The Father choose YOU to represent the Kingdom! He choose YOU to represent His heart to a world that is in desperate need of a Savior. What a privilege and honor we’ve been given. Our hearts should rejoice in such an opportunity to represent the King of Kings!!! Likewise, we should
also be drawn by His love and mercy to place of sweet repentance if we have found ourselves ineffective in representing the best interests of the Kingdom.

- In 2 Corinthians 5:9, Paul said it was his ambition, whether in his body or out of it, to please the Lord. What is your ambition? Does your life show it? “When your lives bear abundant fruit, you demonstrate that you are my mature disciples who glorify my Father!”John 15:8 TPT
