OUR
STORY
We are a Christ-centered, non denominational, family church located in Lafayette, Louisiana. Our journey began in 1997 with just a few families gathered together in a living room with one purpose -- to know Christ and make him known. As we have grown over the years we have never lost the warmth of the genuine relationships that were formed in that living room. Today, we are hundreds of families gathered together every Sunday with the goal to see Faith, Family and Community come together as One.
OUR
PASTORS
Pastor Bobby and Pastor Shannon Richard have been pastoring One Church for 25 years. Their life's message is, "Life lived in personal relationship with Jesus is far better than life lived without Jesus." They have been married for 37 years and have 5 children and 8 grandchildren.
"As much as I love water sports, bow hunting, watching football while eating homemade popcorn, and eating boudin and cracklin on a good Saturday morning, nothing can compare to the wonderful life spent “knowing Christ, and making Him known.” | Pastor Bobby
WHAT
WE BELIEVE
The Bible is the word of God.
Jesus is the Son of God.
Everyone must be born-again.
Everyone can and should be Spirit-filled and Spirit-led.
We must have unity in these things that are essential.
In the things that are non-essential, we allow liberty.
In all things, there must be love.
