For his eyes are on the ways of man and he sees all his goings, (Job 34:21), beholding the evil and the good (Prov 15:3)
In Gen 6 We have the family records of Noah. His world, ten generations from Adam was a world of wickedness where every thought of his heart was nothing but evil…
His world was framed by thoughts that were self-serving without regard of others. It was framed in denial and rejection of the will and wishes of God. (It was not framed by the word of God-Heb 11:3)
But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord and he was able to save his household. Why?
1. Noah was a righteous man; he was blameless among his contemporaries. Righteous means just, lawful in one’s cause, conduct and character. He was perfect, blameless meaning he was complete, whole, sound, innocent with integrity. He was complete in accord with truth and in fact of identity and purpose.
2. He walked with God: walk means to go with, follow, be conversant with, to be led, live life. In Amos 3:3 it says can two walk together except they be agreed? Noah was in full agreement of who God is, who he is (his identity) and his purpose and assignment. Noah was able to walk with God because true instruction was in his mouth and injustice was not found in his lips. (Mal 2:6) He was able to walk (lead a life) worthy of the divine calling with the behavior that is a credit to God (Eph 4:1)
3. Noah partnered with God. In the courts of heaven, Noah is recorded as a righteous man, blameless among his contemporaries and that Noah walked with God. (Gen 6:9) When we walk or live with someone we get to know their heart, their secrets. Since Noah walked with God, he knew what God was about to do. He knew that God was going to destroy man from the face of the earth. So by faith Noah prepared an ark to the saving of his house. God invited Noah to partner with him so that he would turn people from their evil way and their evil doings. (Jer 23:18,22) It is not God’s will that any perish. The Lord says shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do before he destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.( Gen 18:17). God is inviting the world through us to repent and turn from all transgressions so iniquity will not be our ruin. (Ezekiel 18:30)

So consider the following questions:
1. How can you be recorded in the courts of heaven as righteous, blameless?
How shall a young man cleanse his ways..by taking heed to thy word.
Psalm 119:9
What scriptures have you not heeded? If you don’t forgive your father will not forgive you your trespasses (Mat 6:15)
How well do you heed the scriptures?

2. Are you walking with Lord?

You have to be in agreement with the word of God. You cannot walk in the counsel of the ungodly…Ps 1:1
Walking in the light requires fellowship…. 1 John 1:7
Is there a part of your life that you could be hiding from others? ( walking in darkness)
Ephesians 5:2 Walk in love

3. Build an ark.

What are you doing to save your house?
Building the ark is weeping for the children
Luke 23:28 weep for yourselves and your children. Will you weep and travail in prayer for saving of your house? For your community? Nation? World?
2 Cor 4:1 to not faint —not discouraged when praying year after year. It took Noah 120 years to build the ark
