The Lord has lead me over the past few months to address areas in my life that are out of order. One of those areas was my master closet! Lol! After spending hours going through every item I had jammed packed in that small space I was able to donate 10 bags of clothes and shoes. I’m still in awe that I was holding on to stuff from 10-15 years ago!! Talk about freedom!!
These areas in our lives, whether it be closets, checkbooks, relationships, or even our thought life are mostly hidden from the world. However, as we bring God unto those hidden areas it create moments with our Father that begin to shape us on how we SEE him. Eventually your private victories lead you to public ones!
If you remember, David was able to slay a giant in full view of everyone because he discovered in the secret places God as Elohim! He discovered God’s incredible power and might. He discovered in private Elohim, the one on whom he can fully rely on, the one he can completely trust! (1 Sam 17)
It’s in the secret places that we discover God with fresh revelation! In those secret places God may be extending an invitation to you to discover Him as ABBA Father, El Roi, the God who sees or Yahweh, the Lord who provides! However, we must except the invite. Are you ready?

- Explain a time of private victory and how It shaped how you saw God in that moment.
- Do you sense an area in your life that you are unsettled in? Do you think God could be leading you to rearrange somethings?
- Take some time as a group and go through the different names of God. Have you encountered God as His names describe? Which one stands out and why?
- Pray for each other for eyes to see God in new fresh revelation!!
